Baha’i Centre

The Brisbane Baha’i Centre of Learning (BCL) is a multi-purpose centre located in Milton, Brisbane, where Baha’is conduct a variety of activities open to the public. To see what is on, use the Events Calendar on the sidebar, or click on Events under Categories.

If you are interesting in attending a Baha’i event, there are range of options available to you, such as:

    Study Circles: The curriculum of the Ruhi Institute aims, in its entirety, at achieving three overall objectives: providing insights into spiritual matters, imparting knowledge about the Bahá’í Faith, and helping to develop specific acts of service.
    Each study circle is different from the next, and may vary according to participants age group, country or culture. [read more…]
    Children’s Classes: regular classes can be held in your local neighbourhood, which teach children from all ages spiritual values such as: tolerance for all races, the oneness of all religions, practicing virtues everyday and more.Bahai Education in State Schools: The Australian Baha’i community provides Baha’i education classes in many public primary schools under the “Special Religious Education” or “Scripture” program.
    Students from all religious backgrounds are welcome to attend (with their parents’ permission) and many currently do. [read more…]
    Devotional Meetings: these gatherings are open to all and are intended to embrace that attitude of prayer and devotion that is universal to all religions. Music is often a component in the gatherings.
    Junior Youth Programs: Baha’i junior youth programs aim to assist young people, as they move from childhood through adolescence, to develop their spiritual qualities, virtues, their intellectual capabilities, and their capacities for service to society.
